After reading Dr K's BVT protocol, I decided to give it a shot..ha Dr K says it is superior for neuro lyme.

The next hurdle was convincing my doc to write me an order. To my surprise, he did. So, I will hopefully have it in 4 weeks.

Just wondering if anyone else has tried it.

Thanks [Smile]

i would like to know more about it. My husband has 7 hives so this would be easy for me to do IF I could get the nerve. The last time I was stung by a bee was 25 years ago and I had to do lamaz breathing, it hurt so bad!

I love those little critters so making them mad enough to sting me and kill themselves doesn't sound very nice.

I tried BVT yrs ago got the injectable from Dr K supplier...micheal S. Husband did the injections and I would cry..hurt like a Mo Fo ....and he would get upset for causing me pain

Continued this for about 2 mos but didn't notice improvement
My friend was doing it at the same time

Very painful for her also..so she quit
Good luck

Yeah, the last time I was stung by a bee, it was on my upper lip and it was worse than child birth !! Not to mention, I looked deformed for about a week...

I've already order my injections, so I'm committed. I'll let you know how it turns out

My LLND has me using Venox bee venom ointment that I rub on my neck after showering in the morning. It is supposed to help to increase the blood flow to help with CCSVI.

Hard to know if it is helping that much. It burns like the dickens right after I apply, but calms down shortly after. I have read this is really good for pain.

If there is any chance you are allergic to bee stings, I would proceed with caution!

I tried this protocol for 2 months. It did not have any effect on me. The shots for me caused some brutal pain at the injection site

I bought the product but after reading about it I realized that I take a beta blocker (atenolol) which is contraindicated in bee venom treatment.

IF one has an allergic reaction to the venom AND they are on a beta blocker like atenolol it is much harder to treat anaphylactic shock which makes the treatment dangerous for someone with my family history.

I decided it was not worth the risk.
