My LLMD has suggested I get an Infrared Sauna to help with detox.

I don't have a alot of room for this, but I would like to get something of good quality and I don't want to spend a fortune.

Anyone have any ideas?

Hi daphnesmom,

I have one-it's great! For detox, aches and pains, when I need to relax etc.

But you're right, it does take up a fair amount of space.

There are IR saunas that are "portable". It is basically a mat that you lay on, with an IR dome that sits over top. Almost like a sleeping bag.

I think those are the most space saving ones I have seen. But I think they are not good if one has MCS.

The stationary IR saunas can be made with hypoallergenic woods and glues.

They are expensive, but in my opinion, worth it. They resell well.

Also buying a preowned one may be a good way to save some cash.

I have a portable one. It's awesome, I've had it a yr and it still works great. It was around $200 and I can store it in the closet. If we owned a house maybe I would think about getting a big one, but this works for now.

jlcd1....do you have the brand name of the one you own? Do you feel it is helping you?

We really don't have a place for a big one. A portable one might be good enough for now.

If I feel it helps, possibly we can look into something more permanent.

Thanks

Mine is Therasage Ps2002, cost $540 but lists for 600. It has a good Boca Raton, Florida distributor store front location where you can call and talk to someone when needed.

It is very low on emf's. Portable tent-type.

I highly recommend it.
