hoping i can get a quick education. just found out somewhat inadvertanly that i have myco. i don't think my numbers are as bad as some i';m seen but i'm clueless what it measn to me.
my IGG was 400 and IGM was 0.
i can't say i have any specific symptoms. Is this something we pick up just becasue our immune system is worn down?
do i need to address asap or do i continue with babs being number 1?
i did ahave a respirtory virus 6 weeks agao but my immjune systme responded appropriatelky , had first fever in a long time and i beat it quickly.
just a bit lost as to where i am. been focusing on babs for a year and having been making good progress on all fronts except headaches.

I am assuming that you are referring to mycoplasma pneumoniae? That is a common co-infection that we have. It responds to macrolide antibiotics, which we use for Lyme treatment. They would be zithromax or biaxin.
IGG tends to refer to a past exposure. Where IGM tends to refer to present exposure.

Okay...and you are correct its Myco p. Thnaks for making me feel better.
i got a little freaked as 2013 was a year or progress for me and i have had days that tell me this ordeal will end at some point. i am hoping for no more setbacks.

From page 5 of Burrascano:
"Frequent exposures to Mycoplasmas are common, resulting in a high prevalence of seropositivity [meaning positive blood serum], so the best way to confirm active infection is by PCR."
So, Burrascano is saying that if you want to know for sure if you have an active myco infection, you have to have a PCR test.
