Hi For those researchers, biologist, chemist, doctors, nurses.

Has anyone considered taking Accutane as a protocol.

The reason why I bring this up a couple of doctors have told me that bad acne is a symptom of lyme and co-infections.

I was with a top notch doctor and reasearcher, not Dr. F.

I told her that when I was in high school I had really bad acne. I was on meds from the tetracycline group for a few months and then that did not work so they gave me Accutane for 4-5 months.

She asked me 3 times what happened, how did I get rid of the acne I told her Accutane. I told her 3 times. She took notes.

I find it interesting because according my LLMD's the life of babesia possibly proto is 4-5 months that is why you have to treat it with no breaks.

I've never had liver issues. I know there is a risk that it will drive the infection to the lymphatic system, but then I can get stuff for my immune system.

I am about 80-90% better.

Another reason that I ask this I remember it took care of any sinus or (watery ozzying eye issues) - minor then.

Thoughts?

I found this:

I see other Lyme patients have seen big improvements but I would try to talk to a doctor about it.

hmmm i took accutane first if do not have acne NO dr. is going to give it to you its toxic, you have to sign waivers monthly, get preg. test monthly etc

so MANY lawsuits

it caused my hair to fall out, never to return, severe ibs in family members who took , again gi never recovered, some link it to MS and brain issues

i know people get desperate but its a crazy drug with lots of mental and physical effects

far greater than any antibotic

i think taking accutane actually turned on my bodies lyme/auto immune condition that was laying low

Not worth the risk. I think it has been banned in other countries.

2 of my sons friend took it years ago and the mental changes that happened while on it have never gone away. One of them the acne has returned and is now on doxy again.

scary drug
