This is working great for me. Although I have symptoms of bartonella (leaving to see doctor tomorrow) my PR symptoms are nearly gone.

I bought Proactol and XLS Medical online. They are both made from prickly pear cactus and bind with fat. It is sent from the UK so shipping takes a long time.

The advertising says it binds with up to 28% of the fat you just ate (you take it after a meal). Getting specifics of how much fat was hard but one site said 3 to 4 pills will bind with 300 calories of fat, which is about 33 grams of fat. That would mean each pill binds with 8 to 11 grams of fat.

So you can fudge a little bit on what you eat and take a pill to get rid of it. As Cheating to me is an extra 5-10 grams, I never go over the restriction and taking the pill can reduce my fat to zero.

F said fasting for 12.5 days eliminates the PR. It falls to
undetectable levels but within days of resuming a normal diet, it is back. This gets what it is after out of your body.

If you are still eating meat, then take lactoferrin to bind with the iron. I don't eat meat or want to but iron is in other things like egg yolk and beans. I was taking lactoferrin on an empty stomach but it only binds with free iron, not the iron in biofilm, so the best time to take it is when the iron is in your stomach. I have high storages of iron. I don't need it and it is used in the biofilm. You could also take IP6.

Yes, we do need essential fats. Lecithin provides the most essential fats required by the body. Liposomal encapsulated technology uses lecithin to encapsulate vitamins or EDTA or even herbs to by pass the GI tract. This delivers much more into your blood stream then your body would normally be able to tolerate or you could get through the digestive walls. It is said to be even better than IV.

I take LipoPhos EDTA. EDTA is one of the safest chelators and it has many other benefits. The red cross collects blood treated with EDTA to prevent it from clotting. It destroys biofilm by binding with the magnesium and iron in it. It prefers heavy metals over minerals so even if it has bound with a mineral, like iron, it will release it to bind with a heavy metal. Then it is expelled in the urine. It needs to be taken long term to get the heavy metals first and then work on the biofilm.

Biofilm is invulnerable but it is dependent upon fat and you are restricting dietary fat so it is starved for it. The Liposome is very attractive to the PR and is readily taken into the biofilm. When the fat is removed the EDTA is free to do this job.

I didn't make this up. THere is a product called Artemesinin Esssentials that is liposomal aretemesinin but it is expensive and you only take a tiny amount of it. They describe the liposome as a "Trojan Horse" .

I am trying to take this idea to the next level. You are supposed to take LipoPhos EDTA twice a week. I take it 4 days to reduce the amount I have to swallow because it is disgusting. I put a spoonful on my mouth and then immediately swallow pomegranate juice.

I also take liposomal vitamin C. It does the same thing. Vitamin C in large doses kills viruses and bacteria. It is easy to make homemade liposomal vitamin C and very cheap.

So all of my fat consumption is full of killers. My good cells are benefited from getting rid of heavy metals, viruses and bacteria as well as a good supply of phosphytidylcholine but the PR is under attack every time it tries to multiply.

I have not had any ivermectin in 3 months. That was the only drug that would affect my PR. I don't have the PR symptoms.

I have been on Bactrim or Alinia for a couple of weeks and I feel much better. This is a quick recovery from whatever it is I have, which feels like bartonella. Bactrim did not affect the PR. Before I was tested I tried it thinking my bartonella was back - that was back in 2011 - it did not work at all.

I also started drinking Cistus tea and taking the tincture because it is supposed to get rid of biofilm. I am thinking about making a liposome out of it.

This liposome encapsulated technology is amazing.

I forgot to say it is important to replenish minerals so 12 hours or so after taking EDTA I take chelated minerals with trace minerals. Be sure to get the kind with no iron. I am not sure about replacing the magnesium - have to see about that.

Do you think this would still work if you don't have access to Bactrim or Alinia?

This is all extremely encouraging!

I have always felt better when I eat less fat. I just don't have the brain capacity anymore to research PR.

Is the fat blocker similar to Alli?

The bugs aren't really gone after 12 days of fasting, only undetectable. That's because they're sitting inside the red blood cells, or biofilm community just waiting for an opportunity to hook up with some more fat. That's why it can return so quickly.

None of these bad bugs inside us will just die off because we quit eating. There is plenty of energy for them to survive inside the RBC's or tissues where they are hiding.

But stopping the fat does allow for the drugs/essential oils/herbs, to kill them as their biofilm protection layer wears down. Even the immune system will be able to recognize them at that point, and start putting out the necessary WBC's to gobble them up.

Your symptoms may improve quickly, but I believe that it will take over a year of doing what you are doing do take them down to a negligible amount. That is, if you also take things that will kill them.

Lax Mom Alli is a prescription drug and it is different. Proactol and XLS Medical are both made from prickly pear cactus. They have no side effects unless you take them on an empty stomach. Then you might get diarrhea.

Bactrim does not affect PR. Before I was diagnosed with PR I thought I was getting a return of bartonella and took bactrim. It didn't help at all. Alinia is anti parasitic and I am surprised it is helping so much. I go to the doctor on Tues so i should get more information about what these new symptoms are.

Micul, I don't know yet how many drugs I will have to take. I really hope I can get off drugs. In the 1.5 years, I could stay almost well, only using ivermectin occasionally, but ONLY if I strictly followed the diet. Anytime I strayed from it, like over the Holidays, I got symptoms back - and they came back very quickly.

So the fat binder is a huge help. I think of it like insulin for a diabetic. For dinner I made a curry that is supposed to have coconut milk. I bought the lite canned milk but it still had 22.5 grams of fat. I ate half of it and took a pill. It was so delicious.

I can also have an avocado sandwich - something I have missed so much. I even had a granola bar. These fat binder make eating so much more enjoyable. I have been using them for about a month. I still have no PR symptoms so it is working.

I also think the liposomes are the way to attack PR. It just makes sense. If you are starving it of fat, and it needs fat to survive, it will take in whatever fat is available. If that fat is carrying a killer it will get inside the biofilm where it can do the most damage.

I know people make liposomes with glutathione and curcumin. I don't see why you wouldn't be able to turn tinctures into liposomes. Dr. K says Cistus is the most powerful biofilm buster. Why not turn it into a liposome so it is delivered right inside the biofilm instead of the outside.

I don't know very much about science but I just hope this works. I can't accept PR is incurable or that I have to stay on such a restrictive diet for the rest of my life.

Thanks for taking time to share this!! A couple of questions:

1 ) Have you ever tried MSM ( sulfur ) which is great for joints and hair and nails and arthritis?

2) How do you make liposomal C or other liposomes? This should be doable , I agree with you. I think some here have made liposomal artimisinin / Artemisia .

I am asking about the MSM, because I suspect it kills many pathogens. I took a tiny amount and thought I might die. Sulfur is a very necessary mineral for cell function and collagen , keratin, production and for tissue repair. I suspect it kills many organisms ( garlic does and it is a sulfur product ) . You can even buy MSM cream or powder. The herx from MSM is a killer for me, not sure why. I would love to know if others get this result .

I can answer your question about MSM. I have taken it in large doses for a few years now. I do believe that it is beneficial in many ways, but it has zero effect with Proto, other than maybe helping to reduce its biofilm protection layer. If you are looking for something that will kill it, MSM is not the answer.

The bad feeling that you had from it was probably some kind of sensitivity to sulfur. I never had a bad reaction to MSM from the get go, and I started high.

I agree with Micul -- MSM will not kill anything. Hubby took that off and on for years.

Organic MSM kills me. It's antiparastic and whatever I have goes crazy. Severe seats day and night, burning headaches, air hunger and insomnia. No fatigue ! How do u tell if this is babs or proto?

Maybe you are sensitive to sulfur??

nope not at all all my symptoms just get a million times worse I check my urine sulfates and they are not elevated either

I took MSM long before I even knew that I had Lyme / Co-infections, back when life was normal [bow]

I never noticed any benefit from it, or any negative side effects. I continued to take it because it was suppose to be beneficial for us.

Some of the literature does claim that it will get rid of parasites, but I have never seen any actual proof that it does, and I can say for sure that it did not do a Damn thing for me as far as parasites are concerned!.....Even at large doses.

I think that MSM is more like an amino acid. If you are unable to derive it from your food, then it may be of benefit for you. But seeing as it is causing you problems, I would stop using it.

In my opinion, I think that it is actually benefiting at least one or more of the infections.

You should also be aware that it is an anti-oxidant, and that it will be counter productive if you are taking oxidizing drugs like Flagyl, Tinidazole, Primaquine, ect, ect.

I stop taking all anti-oxidants and most vitamins whenever I am taking these kinds of meds because they severely reduce the effectiveness of them.

Here is a partial list of supps that IMO should be discontinued when taking oxidizers: Milk Thistle Vit C, MSM, Fruits high in C, and many others.
