I just picked up a bottle of Florastor because I've read you can take it with ABX. I am also on another high dollar refrigerated probiotic (100 billion).
But I read that you shouldn't take with an antifungal. Does this mean I can't take it with Nyastatin at all, or do I have to wait a certain amount of time between taking the two?
I've had interminant bouts of loose stools and am on a famous abx notorious for causing c-diff....so I worryBout that and want to be sure I'm getting more than enough probiotics.

Nystatin kills yeast and Florastor is a beneficial yeast. So no, you should not take both.
You might ask a pharmacist whether you could take them hours apart. I don't think it helps though.

I take both as recommended by my Llmd. I space them apart by several hours though.

Other probiotics AND Nystatin are fine. Only Florastor (s.boulardii) contains a beneficial yeast.

Well I just got back from returning the florastor and picked up another refrigerated probiotic.
