How old is it?

I don't know, but with quite a few meds, I think it's ok. Doxy, of course, is a major exception. ANd this is not from a doc or pharmacist. The pharmacists will always say not to take anything past the expriation date. Wish we had more definitive info.
But, yes, how old is it is important. Meds can also lose potency over time, but again, not all.

I've energetically tested diflucan before and taken it past the expiration date (it still works, but not as well as a new one does--maybe 70 or 80%). It gets weaker each month. I think mine was expired by three months.

I was shocked today to realize my Dr gave me a Tindamax sample that expired 7 mos ago. I didn't realize it til I already took it.
3 yrs is a long time for the chemicals to have broken down. (I am such a wet blanket)
