I've had some great feedback from our members in our parasite warriors thread where I asked about the Salt/C protocol.

Marc Fett's book was suggested to me and I quickly skimmed the reviews on Amazon.

I just wanted some feedback on those here who have tried it. Does it work...? Can you really treat yourself using just salt/c or do you need to use abx too?

It all seems just too easy....too good to be true. I've been treating about 15 months with abx and am about 80-90% better. I feel as if I am having trouble getting that last 10% or so knocked out. I started zeolite today and plan to start humaworm in about a month in hopes that is the missing piece in my treatment. Just wondering if Salt/c would be worth adding...

Oh...and it can't be too costly I assume. Just the cost of salt and vitamin c?

I am seeing huge worms exit...and I'm only up to 3/4 of a teaspoon after 3 weeks.

Is that all you are using for worms?

And it also treats lyme? Why isn't this spoke about more? Haha

I did it for a few months. Absolutely no results.

As long as you have a healthy set of kidneys, no high blood pressure and you can tolerate Vit C .. you might consider it.

I have no idea if it works or not. Plenty here have said it does. You can do a search by clicking on the little word "search" above.

I am not advocating the use of the protocol, however. Just telling you what I know.

I did the protocol for a year. No help for me at all. I did not see any worms, either.

However, each person is different.

P.S. Humaworm helped me a lot!

Well, I am pretty sure it does something. I had a very strong herx reaction to it. i hope to return to it after I get my bacterial load down and go after the parasites. I couldn't deal with the herxing for now.

It seems salt c and some herbals are even harder to tolerate than abx cause they are not just killing lyme, they are killing lyme and parasites, etc..

I think it is worth a try. I am probably abnormal as far as what I can tolerate. Everything knocks me for a loop.

I tried it for a little over a month. I did not herx until I got to 5-6 grams of salt & only for a day or two. I only got to 5-6g of Vit C & rapidly got to 20g+ of salt without any major herxing after.

By the end of a month of this I started to get a lot of internal vibrations & my organs started to hurt. I think it does work, but it ushers the bacteria to your nerves & organs, where they may be more protected.

I have heard of a similar experience of another man who took Salt/C with his ABX & he ended up in a wheelchair. I think he might have had the same issue I had, but I stopped within a month or so, while he just continued.

Others do well with Salt/C, so I don't think you will know until you try. You should also listen to go VERY SLOW.

IMO: it is best to buy the book and read it.
I found it explained things to a comfort level to me,
worth the read/ learn a few things.

What I find key to treating parasites, and an explanation as to why people can do herbs or drugs for awhile and not see anything, and then suddenly do,

or part of why salt/ C works:

The parasites want to hold on. Protocols weaken them, and our intestines are hard to clean out - I mean really clean out.

Clearing out the intestines is absolutely critical.
And continually.
I still get amazed.

It's a great book and very informative.

Unforunately, it's too broad a question, and too many variables for each person. If you're broke, salt c better work.

It's like asking does chemo work for cancer.

I had a very bad herx on the very first day of starting 1/4 teaspoon each of salt and c. I am going very slow. Yes, I think it is helping my Lyme and still trying to figure out if I have parasites, but started back on Parastroy recently. We shall see.

A person in my support group did it for a year. It didn't help, he's still very sick.

Salt causes me to bad edema, also my blood pressure became high after Lyme so it's not the treatment for me.

I would say it does not replace antibiotics.

I haven't done the salt but I am doing the vitamin C liposomally. It Doesn't do much so far. I read to knock out an ordinary cold you need 100 grams of vitamin C powder. That is way past what you could tolerate without getting diarrhea and nausea.

If you take it liposomally, 3 grams is equal to 16-18 grams of powder. You would need to take 18 grams of liposome. If you are trying to tackle something serious you need 75-100 grams of liposome.

The stuff taster horrible so it would be really hard to get that much down. But if you are serious about using vitamin C as a cure, it makes more sense to use a liposome.

I bought 3 boxes of LipoSheric vitamin C, which is about 30 per box, 1 gram each. At first I took one gram a day, which is equal to about 3-4 grams powdered C taken orally and going through the intestines. I got sick - really sick - so it sure didn't protect me from getting a virus.

Now I am doing 3 grams a day until it is gone. I think there are better liposomes to use, unless you can drink this by the glass full.
