Just a general question...I've read a lot of articles suggesting antibiotics will have no effect in 10-15 years.

What does this mean for us? Sounds kinda scary...

OH.. maybe it means they will be obsolete! That would be good.. stem cell therapy instead?

No, it is bad. It means today's abx will not kill the strains of Strep, Staph, etc. that make up most of what abx are used to treat today by the year 2024...

In other words, the abx will no longer be effective at killing any common infection.

Bummer... I believe that!

It's already more or less, the case today, isn't it? If all our answers were merely different cocktails of abx, there wouldn't be lymenet or LLMDs.

I've seen that bees in the US are all treated with abx, or they die of diseases. It was NOT LIKE THAT about 40 years ago, farmers say. Their parents were NOT giving abx to bees, they didn't even know it was possible!!!

In some countries (like Australia), this is not the case, and bees still thrive without abx.

Probably due to less use of chemicals or cleaner environment ? Their immune systems still work, while the American bees are sick from start.

Bees are attacked not only by bacteria, fungi but also by PARASITES, that eat them from inside out.

When I watched this documentary, it really reminded me of lyme disease and bees suffer exactly like we do.

Bee farmers use more abx, more chemicals to try to fight back, but every year, they lose more colonies than previous years, despite increasing abx.

ABx will not give your immune system back, nor the bees'. It's a society, environment war, not a war against pathogens.

We shouldn't be worried about abx being noneffective in the future. They aren't so useful now already. It's not only lyme, AIDS, but also fungi, parasites, candida, protozoans (like babesia or malaria).

We should be worried about what can be done, so that we all gain our immune systems back. It's not a quick fix, like new generations of drugs that will save us.

All I can say is thank goodness for CD (MMS)!

I was going to say the same, but you beat me to it.

ABX are useless now!!!

Agreed that we need to experiment & hunt for alternative therapies.
