As I have indicated in the past, my son has very bad babesia. Doctor is at point of considering quinine. Looks like some potentially significant side effects. Anybody do this?

We are using the CSA (cryptolepis/sida/alchornea)tincture from WoodLandEssence. Higher dosages (15 drop TID) produce a babesia herx (chest pressure, air hunger, sighing) for our daughter. Lower dosages (15 drops BID) have given her huge gains in executive/cognative function.

We are using this along with the other herbs in Buhner's bartonella protocol.

She tested negative for babesia, but our LLMD thinks a babs-like-organism must be involved for this type of herx to appear.

Hi,

I took a lot of rotating anti-parasitics then clynda with quinine. I had great improvements with this. I had to do a baseline hearing test because it can cause hearing problems.
I think there might also be side effects with vision.

I didn't have either of these problems.

I had great improvements with both anti-parasitics and clynda with quinine.
