Hi everyone, Hope you are having a great spring thus far.

Do you know of any good resources; books, articles etc.. on food sensitivities and leaky gut? A book title or two would be great.

Thanks. Think I am dealing with some of this and don't know a whole lot about it. Certain foods have my nose running and hives popping up.

Feeling really good otherwise after a horrible downturn last summer that went into January.

It's nice to feel pretty normal. Kind of can't believe it!

This is the best site I've found with tons of info:

Getting to the root of the problem

I thought I had food allergies (couldn't digest anything for 2 years and was wasting away). It was ALL gut dysbiosis. I got well after having a CDSA test that got to the root of the problem.

Thank you Judie. This is a big help. I really appreciate it! I believe my issues are from gut dysbiosis of some sort too.

I am going to eliminate the foods I think could be further irritating the issue and see if that helps, and speak to my doctor about it.

Have a good evening.

Look into mast cell activation syndrome, foods high in histamine and/or foods high in salicylates.

All three of the above can cause hives. (even if you have no allergies to the foods)

Here's some info on histamine and mast cells:

Evidently, Lyme can cause this.
