Does Claforan do the same thing as Rocephin does in regards to Glutamate transporters?

Whatever neuro stuff Rocephin does (and I think I feel it - in a good way) I want.

Does Claforan do the same? I am thinking not - since it's never mentioned.

The gallbladder stuff with Roc. worries me.

I've gotta be on something IV that I can infuse myself with a butterfly needle.

I assume for the Glutamate stuff it needs to be Roc. and not Claforan.

Thanks.

I know nothing about the glutamate. All I know is that Claforan has to be taken more often than Rocephin. That's why it's not used as much.

Claforan and Rocephin also are viable as IM shots. Something to think about, so you wouldn't have to give yourself a butterfly.
