I just watched "Under Our Skin" last night for the first timeā€¦and I really hope they do a sequel!!

It was really an eye-opening movie, and honestly, being new to this, it kind of scared me...

Yes, it is scary because it shows some of the worst cases of lyme disease. The movie was made to educate the public that lyme is a serious disease.

This is necessary to state because the medical establishment says lyme is rare and easily cured. They say there is no such thing as chronic lyme disease.

So, when you understand why the film was made, then you will know why they showed the very worst cases.

Most or many lyme patients do not have visible symptoms. So, no sense showing them in the movie.

Don't think that every case of lyme gets as bad as the cases shown. But, without treatment, lyme does NOT go away. And, nobody knows how bad their case might get.

I went undiagnosed for at least 10 years. Still, I had no visible symptoms. BUT, my life was a living hell.

Once I was diagnosed and once I educated myself about this disease, I got myself to a doctor who followed the Burrascano protocol. Then, I got well.

I completed my treatment 9 years ago and I am still symptom-free, enjoying my life.

So, there are lots of happy endings if you get good care.

Become educated. That is the most important thing you can do for yourself. Then, you will know enough to know if you are getting good care or not. Once you find a good doctor, you have a good chance of returning to health.

We will help you here all we can.

They really need to report heavily on the spread of TBD's across the globe (re: French film), as well as follow-up.
