I live in the north. Every winter my health deteriorates and every summer I rebound. I believe I would be well if I could eliminate the winter problem.

Vitamin D does nothing. When possible I get out in the sun with some bare skin and it always helps. I eat a lot more in winter and heavier food. Fresh food from my garden is no longer available.

Any ideas on how to combat this problem? I may have to rent a place in AZ for a month and see what happens.

Not sure. I live in Vancouver-and it is the same for me in the winters.

Too much grey.

Witamin D supp doesn't help me either.

Low D = low magnesium = feeling like crap. If you're low in one, you are low in the other.

Vitamin D must be taken in large doses with a fat to be absorbed. I'm a sun worshiper, but still need 6000 IUs a day in the winter and 4000 in the summer just to maintain D levels in the 50's.

I was taking Standard Process magnesium 3x a day all winter. I'll try upping the dose of D next time around. I always took 2000mg and thought that was sufficient.

Thanx.
