I have bartonella, been treating with Rifampin 300 mg 2x a day, and with Byron white formulas...A-Bart and A-Inflam

I have been treating for a little over two weeks now, anyone had any experience with this protocol?

I am taking A-Bart and tried Rifampin. I couldn't tolerate it but if you are doing ok, it is one of the best drugs for bartonella. It does take a long time to get rid of it though.

Have you noticed any improvement? Often you get worse before you get better.

Rifampin is supposed to be taken with another med to prevent resistance, can you add Zithromax or mino?

CD is right.

Rifampin always needs to be taken with other abx.
Zithromax or minocycline are often paired with rifampin.

Bartonella also needs to be treated with two intracellular antibiotics at once for best results.

IMO, I think if you are on rifampin, mino or zith, and the herbal formulas for bartonella, you'll be well on your way to getting rid of bart.

(keep in mind bart treatment ranges from 4 months for mild cases to two years for more serious cases.)

I have noticed some improvement, small things but not any of the major symptoms like ....stiff neck, sore lower back, insomnia, eye pain, eyes blood shot with yellow on whites, eyes dry and gritty, red and purple streaks on upper thighs, joints popping and cracking, etc...

I will have to talk to my doctor and see if they can add another antibiotic to the mix, I want to do the quickest thing to recovery I can, I don't care about the side effects as much as getting better.

Myself was minocycline along with rifampin , then eventually factive , tindermax also eventually.

Various other herbs and supplements .

Mainly meds and supplements that crossed over into BBB.

Slow tedious slowly ramping up . There is no quick way only time .

Detox, Detox , control yeast , take your probitcs . No sugar , no soda , watch when you take some minerals or when probiotics to close to antibiotics

It's one step forward ,ten back , rinse and repeat.

Keep a journal with meds and symptoms ,rate from 1-10 regardless of using any meds or supplements ,or not taking anything at all if pulsing.

It was one hell of a ride for myself .

But better now from lyme and bartonelia . Regained my life back as it was once was.

You will to improve its baby steps one day at a time.

Anxiety soldier, Have you talked to your doctor about your yellow eyes (on white)?

I'm sure you know this is a sign of liver problems. Could be the meds your taking or something other than that. I'm sure he'll do some blood work.
