my doctor has suggested that I go to see a medical intuitive because I am not getting better after 4 years antibiotics and he thinks that there maybe something that he is missing that the psychic could pick up on. I live in Massachusetts so does anyone know of a good medical psychic in the area?

It's about time that doctors admit that they don't know what the *#^%$ they're doing. Some of them, I wish they'd admit this up front instead of making thousands of dollars off of you first. At least this one is honest enough to tell you and to ask for help.

I PM'd you with some information about the best in the business. In Cali, but works over the phone.

4 years is way to long . I hope you find the answers you are looking for.

I always kept a journal of symptoms , pain rated. Regardless of being misdiagnosed or no treatment for anything . Then eventually while being treated .

To see what works and what doesn't work. In a few months.

The more info you have to give to a LLMD is better than having him try to pull it out of you like a crap shoot.

So the doc can't fix the problem and says a psychic can "help"....

I would seriously consider seeing another doctor and getting a second opinion about symptoms. Don't even mention the psychic.

I think the doc you're seeing is in over his head and there is something VERY WRONG with a doctor telling a patient to see a psychic "for diagnosis."

I agree with Judie and Lostlyme

Judie, read the original post again.

The doc recommended the psychic for diagnostic help, not for treatment. I say, kudos to the doc for having an open mind.

If it wasn't for a medical intuitive, I'd still have incompetent doctors telling me I didn't have lyme.

My own research told me that I had lyme, but the doctors were so ignorant about testing and interpreting tests, they kept insisting that I was imagining the whole thing. I knew I had lyme. The medical intuitive told me I had lyme without me telling her a thing except that I was sick. I didn't even tell her my symptoms.

I'm not against going to a COMPETENT lyme-literate doctor to confirm the intuitive's findings with QUALITY testing. They're going to have to do that in order to treat, anyway.

Parasites are usually the missing link if you are not getting well. That's what my intuition guided me too and it was right on the money. Check out the PARASITE WARRIORS SUPPORT THREAD I found this website here on lymenet.

www.lymephotos.com

You might want to mention the fact to your doctor that a lot of ticks are carrying the Filarial Worm co-infection. Ask him to look into it and suggest he try antiparasitics to treat you.

As for katrinab, I think you need to get a 2nd LLMD appt.,
or pick a method and stick it out-
I see you ask about every kind of treatment
(rife, chelation, etc.)

And for the record, our 1st LLMD gave a referral, IF we wanted, for a well known and sought after Zyto person

Zyto is hard to explain, but daughter and I got a printout of top layers of our most chronic issues, with treatment suggestions of herbs and antibiotics.

Our LLMD backed it up with blood or other tangible tests where applicable.
It was for extra information, if the patients (we) were interested.

And yes, I found it to be accurate.
But we didn't do a Zyto reading again-
($$ and didn't feel it was necessary again.)

Here's a thread I did awhile back on what to test for:

http://flash.lymenet.org/scripts/ultimatebb.cgi/topic/1/127210?#000000

Diagnosis is very important so you can get on the right treatment plan.

I'm speaking from having an incorrect diagnosis through muscle testing and then spending tons of $$$ trying to fix what was diagnosed. I wasted time and money that could have been spent with a better doctor.

And by the way, a good Medical Intuitive is FAR more reliable than muscle testing in my experience.

**edited out unkind and unnecessary comment**

Please, folks, make your points without calling each other names. Dogsandcats and I have just edited this thread. It's important for us all to be able to have a respectful discussion here, even when we may not agree.

I've used intiutives. It's important to get a good one. The one we went to said my daughter needed a kinder more gentle approach as her body was too out of whack to do anything. This is after 3 years of treatment.

Anyway, my rebellious daughter said No, no more gentle, no more soft. She made her own choice to go after IV. That was two years ago. After a year on strong IV and another year tackling Babs she is finally getting somewhere.

The deal with the intuitive we used is that they were also recovered from Lyme and I think had a strong bias to the soft, gentle approach because it worked to get them to the finish line.

I think an intuitive is fine. Also, it's important to listen to your own intuition. Best wishes!
