My LLMD prescribed O2 for me...2L/hr. But Medicare refuses to pay for it. I get migraines and severe vertigo, sweats from lack of oxygen. My husband said he will hospitalize me if they won't pay for it. Obamacare covers it and many other things that stop once you turn 65. Medicare is a royal pain!
We may have to buy a generator ourselves. Any advice?

1. Migraines might be due to excessive aldehydes. Drink a REGULAR sprite (Chinese research...very recent). NOT sugar free...our brains NEED GLUCOSE.
2. COPD helpers are these:
OmegaBrite (high EPA (anti-inflammatory) with some DHA and vitamin E in them,
vitamin C (timed release 500mg in a capsule is more "stomach friendly" (Publix also carries),
NAC = n acetylcysteine,
Ginger - capsules (PDE4 inhibitor - google it in relation to lungs...use the smallest doses - 125mg - used with NOW brand PLP/P5P = active form of B6 (because it contains Mg along with B2 which helps us absorb B6) ,
Bb looks to use phospholipase D (which contains n acetylglucosamine) to convert PC to PG when in the tick.

Molybdenum also helps detox aldehydes...
But molybdenum never helped my migraines...had to go gluten-free & corn-free for relief.

Medicare rules on oxygen are so ridiculous. To prove you need oxygen, they look for a pulsox of 85. Also, if they approve the oxygen, it will be for a short time at which point they will require breathing treatments to see if they can reduce your need for oxygen.
They cut me off and I had to buy my own concentrator. Over time, I am weaning off my need for oxygen.
