Bad head day with head/eye pressure sensations.
Back of eyes hurts.
Is this a common herx with minocycline?

I went back to full dose for a few days but today is approaching unbearable.

Yes, that was my most severe doxy/mino herx symptom, and I gather that's pretty common. Generally mino is a little less brutal than doxy, but both cross the blood brain barrier.

My docs have both recommended pulsing off the drug when it starts approaching unbearable, because that kind of encephalitis can be pretty dangerous.

Yeah, pulse off today.

Yesterday felt like I was hit in the head with a 2x4.

I hope this means the mino is killing those little *******s though.

Just thinking out loud:

Wondering if I need pulse high doses of mino instead of doing constant low dose.

Maybe low dose doesn't penetrate the CNS as well?

On my second pulse at full dose, but have yet to experience the same head symptoms.
Maybe in a day or two it will hit.

Yes, it sounds like a herx.

VV, do you have the Parkinson head-bob/twitching?

This increased in me with increased brain pressure while taking mino.

No, I don't. My twitching in order of frequency:
toes (mostly right side)
thigh/buttocks (mostly right side)
fingers (only lasts for 20 seconds at a time)

Twitching usually gets worse with other symptoms (often cognitive + weakness).
