Thanks!!! Can it be purchased legally since it is the oil, and does not contain THC compound?

Is it expensive? I wonder if it would affect babesia?

How does it work if it kills lyme? If it is an oil , why not ingest it or rub it on skin?

Is there a safe way to get it if you live in a state that does not have legal pot? Seems it should not be a problem if there is no THC.

What kind of cost is involved?

Yesterday's news, forget which site. Minneapolis parents charged with marijuana oil given to teen son who has brain injury. He was so much better finally back in school, not dying in pain - pain and symptoms were being well managed.

Teachers asked "what you doing so different now that you are so much better?" and then his parents get arrested (out on bond awaiting trial) and they no longer can act as his parents.

So that means it worked but there is a huge risk of using it.

I would to consider it but if I had to do a urine test, I might be looking for another job.

As I said on another post one Lyme and Cancer MD says it is his first component of his protocol but since he cannot not use it in his state he uses Rife.

All the Best, MattH

There is supposedly a legal MLM that sells cannabis oil. They sell it in a type of e-cigarette.

Not sure if it's the same thing though. Supposed to help pain .. at least that is what they say.

Oh my gosh - there are a couple states allowing for medical use - they should be weighing in in this case - CO and CA are two of them. We're very well managed here and it's going fine.

Am thinking this could be an excellent opportunity to testify about the use of medical marijuana. Sometimes precedent cases have to happen in order to get changes.

The next thing the state could start to do is look into the possibility of legalizing medical marijuana.

This trial needs to be well planned for, as in make some national news with testimonies.

Does anyone know when the trial is scheduled for?

Many people in my support group use cannabis oil.

It helps with pain. Some are using it as an adjacent protocol with their abx or herbs.

Although I have been told the non THC kind can increase anxiety or panic attacks.

It is not my cup of tea...growing up in BC, access and exposure to marijuana is common and regular.

It is difficult to find organic, non chemically treated grown cannabis oil.

The chemicals used in growing marijuana are atrocious-those with CBS mutations should stay away for sure.

Finding an organic source of non THC is the obstacle the ones in my support group are having.

GretaM, From the Cibdex website:

Is our hemp organic?
Our hemp is non-GMO, and is grown without the use of pesticides, herbicides, and chemical fertilizers. Unfortunately, there isn’t an organic certification process in place for hemp, but we are hopeful that within the next year there will be. Stay tuned!

There are 23 states that allow medical marijuana. Lots of articles out there explaining the benefits of cannabis oil.

According to my LLMD the cannabis oil can get rid of Lyme and coinfections. If you are in a legal state, the oil is easy to make.

From what I understood from all the articles I read, the oil is what heals and smoking will only help with symptoms. Vaping is better than smoking.

Has anyone moved to a legal state just to use this? Do you have to be a full legal resident, or are there provisions for someone who is from another state, but is not a legal resident?

I wish MM oil could be utilized in PA, but at this point it is not legal. I wish there was an easy way to try this NOW because of my pain.

But, the process is underway to try to legalize this in PA.

I found this 2 month old article:

Medical marijuana may be coming to Pennsylvania

On June 27, the Senate Law and Justice Committee unanimously voted in support of the bipartisan Senate Bill 1182, known as the Compassionate Use of Medical Cannabis Act. This is the first time in recent history that a legislative body in Pennsylvania has acted on this issue! If passed, this measure would protect Pennsylvanians with serious and debilitating medical conditions from arrest for using and obtaining medical marijuana with their doctors’ recommendations.

Conservative Sen. Mike Folmer joined longtime champion Sen. Daylin Leach this year in co-sponsoring the medical marijuana bill. "We're not talking about banning OxyContin, we're not talking about banning Percocet, we're not talking about banning Vicodin. If you're gonna say that we're afraid of the misuse of medical marijuana, you've gotta use that same philosophy and ban all the others also," Folmer said.

Twenty-two states and Washington, D.C. have compassionate laws on the books. Once New York’s recently-passed bill is signed into law, the Keystone State will be nearly surrounded by states where medical marijuana is legal. Seriously ill Pennsylvanians deserve the same treatment options as their neighbors. Ask your state representation in Harrisburg to support this well-crafted legislation.

And, while Gov. Corbett is opposed to medical marijuana, change may be on the horizon. Democratic gubernatorial candidate John Hanger is running on a campaign to reform marijuana laws. His three-step plan includes legalizing medical marijuana, decriminalizing possession of small amounts of marijuana, and establishing a regulated system for adult-use, retail marijuana sales.

Faithful, I know who your LLMD is and that person has a great success rate. Why does your LLMD believe it can get rid of lyme and coinfections.

Do you take the oil? Have you been using it?

Look very very carefully at the various ingredients in "pot".

ONE is an antibiotic.

No kidding.

"Cannabis, the plant, contains over 400 chemicals, including a penicillin-like antibiotic, cannabidiolic acid."

http://www.medicalnewstoday.com/articles/246392.php

I am most interested in its effect on collagen type II.

Long story.

Double benefit? WHOA!

Re: cannabidiolic acid

Methylation of the *carboxylic acid* moiety of CBDA led to disappearance of COX-2 selectivity.

Thus, it was suggested that the carboxylic acid moiety in CBDA is a key determinant for the inhibition.

Furthermore, the crude extract of cannabis containing mainly CBDA was shown to have a selective

inhibitory effect on COX-2.

Taken together, these lines of evidence in this study suggest that naturally occurring CBDA in cannabis

is

a selective inhibitor for COX-2.

http://dmd.aspetjournals.org/content/36/9/1917.abstract

COX-2 selective inhibitor is a **form of non-steroidal

anti-inflammatory drug***

and pain. Wiki.

Those of you not in "pot" friendly states...I urge you to *consider* Glycox, 500mg TID.

The reason for the synergy with diflucan appears to be this:

Diflucan looks to mildly inhibit an enzyme called CYP3A4 (Wiki) which looks to metabolize berberine.(http://www.tritolonen.fi/files/pdf/Guo_2011.pdf)

Thus if we mildly inhibit that enzyme, won't berberine's effectiveness increase?

Diflucan worries...elevated AST and ALT maybe countered by berberine as it is here:

http://examine.com/supplements/Berberine/#summary14-0

Berberine looks to be very liver "protective".

The goal is ...inhibit iNOS, upregulate eNOS and destroy the infected cells via

impacting complex III

in the mitochondria -> cell death.

Hypericin + yellow laser does the same. Hypericin is a component of complex III...then hit it with that laser.

Researchers:

http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2528884/

Yes, it is being upregulated (N-acetyltransferase)

Bb is perfectly content to hang out in cells that are barely functioning.

"Mitochondria have been suggested to donate lipids to autophagic membrane.."

Autophagy = "self eating". No wonder IL-15 CD8 memory T cells are upregulated to trigger mitochondrial biogenesis.

There are a couple of facebook groups about cannabis oil for lyme. Several people are in remission from using the oil. Unfortunately, I am in an illegal state.

The groups are called.....
Cannabis For Lyme Disease

Is anyone in the know about this??

Does anyone know of any particular loopholes concerning state residency (I realize there could be variation between state laws when it comes to the use of cannabis for medical purposes).

Oil I would like to try and I will when I move to Ca. I have used other methods and it has been the best treatment I've done in the past 4 years.
I'm still treating but cannabis has given me back the quality of life that I was missing for so long.
Believe it, this stuff works.
