I'm really hurting. burns when I pee, I'm so sore I can barely sit.

bought one of those azo test strips for uti. mine was the darkest purple.

of course dr's office is closed until tuesday.

all I have is 10 days of flagyl. will that help?

Are there any urgent cares close by?

No, that will not help. Find an urgent care! Get some AZO over the counter to help with the pain.

No Flagyl isn't an antibiotic, get to urgent care. A bladder infection can be serious if it goes to the kidneys.

<<<<< Randy' >>>>>,

Hugs and prayers, I've been fighting a UTI, w/ the IC problem and yeast issues.

If you can get into a Dr., Urgent care,as suggested,something... please go in.They can worsen.

Keep drinking fresh water, and the AZO-Urinary pain relief helps. You'll be in our tho'ts.

Jus' Silverwolfi-sis here

Did you go to a dr? How ya doing?

You want to 'nip it' before it gets into the kidneys.

I let one go too long a few years ago and ended up in the hospital on IV abx.

Never been so sick in my life and the doctor said I could have died.

Nothing to fool around with.

Try drinking one teaspoon of baking soda in a glass of water (works for me). It neutralizes the acidity of your urine and makes the bacteria slide off your bladder walls and exit. Remember to drink lots of water.

Randi-you need to get abx ASAP.

Bactrim, septra, cipro, levaquin

It can go to the kidneys quite fast.

Once you are peeing straight blood, there's a good chance you'll need IV abx.

The longer you leave it. The more irritated the linings get the harder it is to heal.
