Dear friends,

An excellent paper by Professors Laane and Mysterud has been the subject of an attack by saboteurs who have uploaded huge amounts of spam into the Comments section, rendering the page on the site of the medical journal unreachable by many computers.

Even those who could reach it may well receive malware warnings on their browser that will deter them from going there, as a result of this cowardly attack.

Recently the Denialist camp tried to censor a screening of one of Dr Alan MacDonald's videos - we responded by a massive campaign to encourage people to view it and share the Youtube link, resulting in over 25 000 views in a short space of time.

There were so many views that Youtube began to insert adverts into it, realising it had gone "viral".

Now let's show the Denialists that they will not be able to cover up the truth about chronic Lyme disease, non-spiral forms, etc by trying to deny researchers and the public access to the Mysterud and Laane paper either.

A simple method for the detection of live Borrelia spirochaetes in human blood using classical microscopy techniques

We have developed a simple method for the detection of live spirochaete stages in blood of patients where chronic borreliosis is suspected. Classic techniques involving phase-contrast and fluorescence microscopy are used.

The method is also quite sensitive for detecting other bacteria, protists, fungi and other organisms present in blood samples. It is also useful for monitoring the effects of various antibiotics during treatment.

We also present a simple hypothesis for explaining the confusion generated through the interpretation of possible stages of Borrelia seen in human blood. We hypothesize that these various stages in the blood stream are derived from secondarily infected tissues and biofilms in the body with low oxygen concentrations.

Motile stages transform rapidly into cysts or sometimes penetrate other blood cells including red blood cells (RBCs).

The latter are ideal hiding places for less motile stages that take advantage of the host’s RBCs blebbing-system.

Less motile, morphologically different stages may be passively ejected in the blood plasma from the blebbing RBCs, more or less coated with the host’s membrane proteins which prevents detection by immunological methods.

One thing is certain about the research published by Mysterud and Laane, the establishment don't like it. The attack on the webpage has been concerted and sustained, but it might be traceable even though a spambot has been used.

This is just gut wrenching & it all appears to be true. It took me quite a few clicks from the original link, but I was able to eventually access it yesterday & even though it was flooded with spam comments.

First they tried to stop the PBS showing of Under Our Skin, the director publicly announced this. I remember seeing a youtube video where he admits this, but can't seem to find it now. If anyone knows the link of the video I am referring to please link.

I cannot believe this is going on. They are really desperate to protect their deceit & schemes and it is sickening.

This is something that one scientist cannot bring to light alone. They need the help from all of us & we all have to persevere & do what we can. Spread the word near & far and as many sites as you can.

I need that youtube link to add credibility to our cause here.

The first one.

The director, Andy Abrahams Wilson, gives an interview post documentary release & explains how the CDC reached out to stop the showing of UOS1 on PBS (ch 13).

I still can't find the video, but I found this & it looks like it was IDSA that tried to stop it.
