My LLMD wants me to implement Tri-Fortify Orange (Liposomal Glutathione + Vitamin C). The only instructions I received with the box were to take one teaspoon before breakfast, hold under tongue for 30 seconds, and then swallow. I tried my first dose this morning, and spit half of it on the floor.

Questions:

1.) It was shipped to GA and left in my hot mailbox yesterday for a couple of hours. The consistency of the first dose was mostly white cream, so maybe I didn't shake it up enough? Or was it in the sun too long? I also didn't taste the "great orange flavor" at all. What should it look and taste like?

2.) Although it says this new formula does not need to be mixed with juice, can it?

3.) I just read previous threads about taking this 1-2 hours away from other medications. Did a Dr. give these instructions? Mine didn't say anything other than where to order it. And what happens if it is taken with other meds (bc this morning I did before I read the previous threads)?

I want to get the most out of this (especially since it is so expensive!), but I have a wierd thing about certain types of food and drink textures making me gag. This happens to be one of them...ugh.

Any suggestions? I can call my LLMD if necessary, but I try not to call if I can find the answers by asking other people who have already dealt with these things.

Any responses are much appreciated!

I plug my nose and it helps a little. I also mix some in a little orange juice for my daughter so I hope it still works like that. Yes my first few doses r also really thick and then more runny after that.

Keeping it in the fridge helps. I never held it in my mouth- just swallowed and chased it quickly with a drink!

I would space it from meds the best you can--- or take it w/ your probiotics- JMO.

Mine is creamy pale orange and I started with a fraction of the dose. I actually like the taste, so perhaps am not best to advise, but it should taste quite citrussy, almost like a tangy orange sweet (candy).

While you are getting used to it, perhaps take a smaller dose and then try a second small one later.

If you really feel that you have got a dud one, then of course, stop taking it and contact the seller.

Thank you for the comments. I wasn't sure what it was supposed to look like.

I investigated this morning, and the cap was filled with some sort of white sugary-looking "sediment". I had to knock it loose, and then shook the tube to mix it around more. I did half a teaspoon this morning and chased it with a drink. It was a better taste and consistency. Much more tolerable!

Thank you!
