Has anyone taken IV Glutathione? My LLMD wants me to do them a few times per week. I don't have a PICC so it would just be peripheral. I am allergic to Sulfa and just read somewhere that you shouldn't have Glutathione if you are allergic to Sulfa?
Also, I am in a different state than my LLMD so I will have to ask my nurse friends to come over and put the IV in. Has anyone done this?

I have never heard that about sulfa and glutathione. Maybe someone else has.
In the past, I have done frequent infusions of glutathione. At one point I was doing them a few times per week with a peripheral, as you have been instructed to do.
When I was doing them several times per week, I became very toxic. I have never understood that. But my doc informed me recently that glutathione breaks up biofilms and I was releasing the pathogens. That is why I got more toxic instead of less.
This may be something to watch out for, if your pathogen load is high, and you are not doing enough antimicrobials. Otherwise, it should help you.
Good luck.

I've done them and I love them.
Mine were peripheral also. I mixed it in a saline bag and administered as per my docs instructions.
Really did help the healing process.
Have you tried liposomal glutathione? It is quite sulfur-y.
Perhaps your doc has a non-sulfur glutathione.
I can't say for the liquid IV kind, but the oral for sure has a lot of sulfur.
I would be wary to do any IV med with a component I may be allergic to.
But again, maybe your doc has a non-sulfur glutathione for you.
If so, then I would totally recommend trying it.

GretaM: I didn't realize that there was a non-sulfur glutathione. I
will have to call him to see if sulfa allergy is an issue. I'm also a little
nervous about taking it. It seems like it can cause some severe
reactions in some people, of course, I only see the worst of the
worst symptoms. I'm glad to know it helped you.
