I was diagnosed 4 years ago. Treated hard for 2+ years hard for Lyme, Babs and Bart. Thought I was better stopped treating and moved to Latin America for the weather and health. First 8 months here great felt better than I had in years. Past month symptoms seem to be coming back! Achy, cramps legs, mood swings etc

Do I go back to treating or try to wait it out. I am scared of treating and causing even more issues?

My only other thought is hormones- peri menopause can cause that

I'm having the same issue. I've been feeling well for a long time but still on limited abx. Started feeling achy and thought...hmmm, what is this.

Coincidentally, my appt with lyme doc was yesterday and going back on a few more abx.

I would catch it quickly, if you think it's lyme symptoms.

I would treat (as I had before, during any relapse). My relapses were very bad initially, so I did have to treat or go back to a very handicapping situation.

My latest relapse was so light I could barely feel it. But I did treat it too. I don't think it is a good idea to let borrelia slowly grow and take place in your body, eating conjunctive tissue, and playing tricks on your immune system, until one day we collapse. That's what I think.

Try upping your magnesium first... see if that helps.

I agree with Brussels. Retreat ASAP.
