I would not want to do that. Too dangerous, IMO. There are other ways that are not so risky. It's very ototoxic. And shooting it into the sinuses, that can circulate (not far to go) and become absorbed by inner ear tissue so very fast and have life-time effects that can cause misery.

Ototoxicity - Bauman, Amphotericin is listed on page 4

A naturopathic doctor would be a good choice to explore other options. Seagate OLE, both capsules & nasal spray have helped my sinuses deal with all kinds of irritations.

You might also want to check to be sure you've already removed fuzzy decorating items from your home, especially from bedroom and bathroom.

Instead of any kind of fuzzy bathmat, a CORK bathmat has been fabulous for my sinuses -- no dust comes from that and nothing can grow in it.

In my younger days, I'd also spray and powder various body parts. Both were just terrible for my sinuses and lungs. So much better when all powders & sprays were tossed out.

Same with chenille sweaters and even corduroy clothes. Too much fine shedding.

Freedom from both gluten & dairy may be good. While celiac dictates not even a mere trace of gluten for me (and when I went gluten free, decades of sinus infections stopped) . . .

however, that dairy connection can be a bit more fluid for me and I still try to convince my body now and then with yogurt.

Even if organic and plain, my sinuses will revolt against yogurt just as much as any other bovine dairy.

With my once in a while tries (or inability to resist temptation of yogurt for a very irritated and burning mouth) after a couple days back off of it, my sinuses are happy again. Proof, time and again.

By now, I've gotten the message and just won't put my sinuses - or immune system through that stress from the added phlegm dairy brings.

[Because excess phlegm can harbor all kinds of nefarious microbes. It's a sticky cocoon for them to thrive in nose, ears, lungs and entire GI tract.]

I do okay with GOAT FETA cheese, though.

And, for a occasional treat, there is a fabulous cashew frozen dessert better than any ice cream I've ever had. Mr. Dewies. Just checked their website and they are only on the west coast now, though there may be other similar items in CT to help with a transition away from dairy.

If you want the atom bomb of mold destroyers. This is the premise of the Brewer protocol. I love it. It's a toxic drug that has serious side effects BUT not when taken nasally apparently.

http://www.drugs.com/forum/latest-drug-related-news/anti-fungus-drug-useful-sinus-problem-24751.html

Obviously, do your own research. I wouldn't have taken it had I known the seriousness of the drug, but now that I did, my sinuses have been MUCH better.

If you think about where some of our infections, mold, viral problems start...it's in the sinuses for many of us.

If I was as careful as I probably should have been, I would still be miserable today. Ampho & diflucan homemade spray helped me tremendously. I guess I was at a point where I didn't care if I died or really did major damage, I was so sick.

I would not discount it. Maybe ramp up. Start with an OLE spray like Keebler suggests and work your way up slowly(and highly diluted). You may also want something like cholestyramine so the mold/fungus that you may destroy isn't just recirculating through your system.
