Hello all, I have not been on here for a while and I apologize, things just got a bit crazy for me In the passed few months.

I will say though my symptoms have eased up a bit and I think it is positive, I am not on treatment with an LLMD at the moment but I have been doing things to help my body such as eating healthier, taking my vitamins, milk thistle, probiotic etc, and trying to work out more as well as detox a bit and I must say I do feel better than I did back in the summer where everything was unbearable and I could not even concentrate and my anxiety would not go down etc etc, was a mess.

Anyway, the symptoms that never go away for me are random anxiety sparks, and the feeling of not being grounded( maybe it is lightheadedness or brain fog or a form of depersonalization).

I always have the flare of of the feeling like I am going to die or something is seriously wrong, I don't feel like I'm grounded and a forgot how it was to feel like I was actually part of this world and I was grounded and felt okay and happy.

If I could just shake these two Symptoms this would all be a lot easier to deal with, of course I have twitching and some heart issues and ear ringing and headaches along with other stuff but a lot of that has eased up a bit on me which I am thankful for.

I am still going to seek treatment with an LLMD I just cannot afford it at this point and time, so I am doing things to take care of my body in the mean time, I have had these symptoms
For about 9 months and I was bitten in March of last year.

I just want to know how to get rid of the anxiety and not feeling grounded thing, it is such a weird feeling and feels like I'm lightheaded a lot and am not really functioning like I used to. It's also very scary cause it makes me think I am going to die or something bad is going to happen :-/ I don't know what to think with it.

these are my two main symptoms which were extremely(and I mean EXTREMELY) bad when I first started experiencing symptoms back in May of last year. They have gotten better a lot I will say, but they still at pretty constant and can get scary sometimes, not as bad as last year, but still annoying enough to freak me out.

So my question is does anyone deal with this at all and have any ideas on how to alleviate without having to go on anxiety medication? Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

Hi! My situation is very similar to yours. Out of treatment for two years but still have slight anxiety, fear, and a dizzy floaty feeling (part of which is caused by my ear fullness). I also have spurts of fear/anxiety that occur now if I fly or take my dogs for walks. I fear something bad will happen.

For me, staying on an anti-candida diet really helps with the uneasy anxious feeling and dread. If I have alcohol, I will wake up in the middle of the night and it's like a broken record in my head wishing I would die. I don't know what else could be so reactive to the alcohol other than candida.

I recently started Nutramedix herbs: Enula, Banderol, and Samento. I reacted pretty strongly to the Enula and Banderol but they hit so many things (parasites, yeast, lyme, bart, babesia, viruses) it's hard to tell what is going on.

From what I have read and based upon experience, Babesia is responsible for the intense feelings of fear and dread. Bartonella for the anxiety. I think in my case I still have a small load of bugs that my immune system can't control thus giving me some symptoms.

I hope you find an answer to this.

Jamers,

you say " If I have alcohol, I will wake up in the middle of the night and it's like a broken record in my head wishing I would die. I don't know what else could be so reactive to the alcohol other than candida." (end quote)

For those with lyme, zero alcohol consumption is a key guideline (other than what is in herbal tinctures but even that can be too much for some).

It's not just candida that alcohol can play rough with, for MANY reasons, it's a major problem for those with lyme.

Alcohol makes a person very depressed .. depression increases anxiety. Vicious cycle unless you can break it.

Chaz... Have you tried upping your magnesium?? Very helpful for anxiety.

You might try some byron white, cowden or buhner herbs. Anxiety sounds like bart, so A-bart or houttuynia can help.

Thank you for the replies everyone. LymeToo- I only take 250 mg of magnesium a day so it is not much, I haven't taken fish oil in a while so I could add that back to what I'm taking.

I will try to up my magnesium dosage and hopefully that will help alleviate a bit of the anxiety and doom feelings, thanks.
