I started bactrim this week for a non lyme infection....24 hours later I was shaking in bed freezing and could not get warm, followed by hot flashes and sweating! what is this, babesia? I have no fatigue and no air hunger. I have never been treated for babesia either
My initial presentation for lyme disease was shaking chills and inability to keep warm, with neurological issues we always thought this was bartonella, but could it have been babs instread?

Those are some symptoms that I have for proto. It's possible it is babs too.
