I had neuro lyme - like drooling in my chair for some time. My brain is still not quite working right, although much better.
Is there some kind of brain cleanse or supplements to clear out my head? Right now I'm starting to use vinpocetine and it makes me a bit out of it. That might be a good thing. Too early to tell.

I am having the same issue. Has ur Dr checked ur ammonia levels? There was some other stuff my llmd tested for but it is upstairs.
We r also going down the 23andme path. Still waiting for those results.
Essentially my llmd thinks it is a detox issue.
Meanwhile my other doctor put me on 3 tablspoons of coconut oil and/or medium chain triglycerides. Supposed to help people with alzheimers.

Fatty acids! Good quality fish oil, PC oil, butyrate, linolic acid oil.

Im glad i take a lot of those already...but what is pc oil?
I have noticed brain fog is way better with both lyme tx and mitochondrial support

Not to distract from the issue, but did any of you have the twitching with your arms and legs jumping around? Emotional problems? I'm just wondering how far along I am with this since it has obviously effected my nervous system. Should I ask my LLMD about the supplements you are mentioning. Ya, what is PC oil?

I can usually stop twitching with mag...cakcium and potassium matters too

I think fatty acids are so important, esp if you've depleted yourself with chronic illness and poor diet ( ie western diet)

I'm still amazed at how my brain was able to heal over time with mHBOT (using a home chamber).
Here are some compelling images of before and after treatment SPECT scans of patients with different chronic brain conditions (download PDF from icon at bottom of page):
mHBOT is really the only treatment known at this time that promotes rebuilding of neural tissue, and release of the body's own stem cells.
A nerve healing diet is also crucial, with lots of good fats and whole foods...

It's reversible. Kratom allowed me to read again. Kratom and high dose turmeric.

What is Kratom?

I was just reading about Standard Process
Neurotrophin PMG: Support for brain trauma,
sluggish thought, brain disorders, loss of
memory. Helps rebuild damaged nerves and supports
healthy function.
I'd add to that OPC Synergy which is also a good antioxidant for the brain.
When our loved one got diagnosed with Lyme I flew
to Florida to learn Dr. Ulan's muscle testing and
also to learn about the Standard Process and
MediHerb supplements. That is why I am sharing
this info with you all. Lyme has a huge learning
curve to it. I read LymeNet daily and I
learn a lot from all of you, too.
