My llmd suggested this to me and found it helpful in other patients. Does anyone have any experience with this long term? Thank you in advance.

My doc reccommends this: lauricidin http://lauricidin.com/
It is the same concept. I have called the owner of lauricidin and spoke with their doctor on staff. I think it is the real deal. My son took it for a candida overgrowth and herxed for 2 days. I had to stop and restart it very slowly. Their doc said they have research that it kills biofilms and bacteria like lyme. They just can't advertise that yet. Best wishes. Start on a low dose and work up.

Love it. But I also take coconut oil and use it on the skin.

I'm on my second full week of the maintenance dose of the monolaurin. I've been using it for immune aid and to help prevent candida.

My doc told me to take coconut oil, which I'm doing in the A.M., too--this is supposed to help prevent bad yeast overgrowth when on abx. I eat a Tbsp. of Nutiva coconut manna.

The monolaurin for treating lyme is a more substantial dosage, and the company's BioFibrin product can be taken as well--to target biofilm.

I think the monolaurin is quite safe when taken as directed.
