I started on natures sunshine yeast/fungal detox. I took one yesterday and one this morning.

now I am in pain. I can barely open my jaws they hurt so bad and right in front of my ears. ouch...

can your jaws and ears herx? I haven't done anything else.

It certainly can. Mine were full of infection. Poor you, Randi... don't you have some infrared or microcurrent to help you with pain there?

nope. don't have anything like that. guess it's hot compresses.

Funny you say this because the diet and Diflucan had caused my jaw muscles to be extremely tense and painful. I could barely open my mouth without feeling like it would get stuck.

I mentioned it last week in a thread. I was worried about an old infection coming up but since you have the same issue I'm thinking its definitely related to yeast/fungus. I know that yeast causes my neck muscles and back/shoulder to get really tight. I'm thinking toxins accumulating in the muscles there.

Sounds like your detox is working. I may try it on top of what I'm doing.

I have jaw and teeth pain. Can this be related to fungus? Diflucan kicks my butt. I always thought that was due to lyme die-off rather than yeast. Perhaps I have been seriously underestimating yeast.

Jaw /teeth pain can be so many things, but for me, I had loads of infections there. Loads. Even when lyme went dormant...

I am today a full believer that no one should have dead teeth inside the mouth (like root canal teeth). They end up harboring so many infections, and then these spread to other weaker teeth around... I lost one tooth after another, to root infections...

Anyway, I pulled them all out. I felt all sorts of pains there, from herxes to inflammation, to weak teeth...

It is AMAZING the number of infections you can have there. Bartonella, borrelia, fungi, and many many others.

It's just like any other part of your body, but somehow I have the feeling we harbor a lot of stuff there... Maybe because I had amalgams, maybe because of the dead teeth kept inside (without active immune system to fight infections there).

I remember during active lyme, my teeth were in bad shape. Then when lyme got dormant, it was a bit better, but slowly, the situation got worse, till it got almost out of control (excess of pain and mucus...). Anyway, if you have time and energy (and money), it's better to treat the teeth /jaw well.

I feel again well, after years of jaw/ bone /teeth problems...
