Anyone ever try taking garcinia cambolia (also natural weight loss supplement)? Just curious if you've experienced any side effects (good, bad, herx)?

Thanks!

Four important things to consider:

1. From a quick search, I'm not very impressed with the sources I see and there is some question as to safety of particular offerings. If you try this, be absolutely certain you have a good source from start to finish.

2. if you seek weight loss and if this suppresses appetite (as I see many "on the web" use this for) that we need a good appetite and we need to eat good food.

3. Other than as a possible appetite suppressant, this appears to perhaps help decrease inflammation. Anytime, there is a decrease in inflammation, there is automatically water weight loss.

So, the question would be if the primary help may be reduced inflammation, is this the best option (with zero side effects)? There are many excellent herbal options that cover many bases at one time that may be better.

4. And, many Rx, OTC and even herbal appetite suppressants can really "wire" some people and for those with lyme, this could be really bad news for the nervous systems / adrenal systems / heart. If anything is too stimulating, back off. Back way off and just walk away.

If this can be found from an excellent source and it works well, great. If not, there are always other ways to proceed. Many other ways.

A LL ND could best determine if this is the correct supplement for you and, if so, a safe brand. If not: what else; how else to achieve the results you seek.

When considering herbal / nutritional / adjunct methods, because lyme is so very complex & unique, as are possible coinfections:

How to find an ILADS-educated LL:

N.D. (Naturopathic Doctor);

L.Ac. (Acupuncturist);

D.Ay. (Doctor of Ayurvedic Medicine);

D.O.M. (Doctor of Oriental Medicine);

Herbal Safety considerations & reference books; etc. . . .
