Pretty smart kiddo. Maybe this next generation will see the ravages of this disease and spur a whole new wave of testing and treatments. It's a hopeful thought, anyways.
I found this quote very irking:

I would like them to explain the science behind "Antibody reactions can be incomplete, often leading to false positives...."
False negatives, yes, but not false positives! If antibodies are incomplete, they can't be detected to cause a "false positive!"
Such stupid hogwash!
At least that kid developed a test that doesn't rely on the Denialists' stupid antibodies test (ie. ELISA)!
I wonder if this new test is any more sensitive than PCR?

This begs the question...
If a high school student can come up with a test that has a "near perfect detection rate"...then certainly our world's top scientists can (and have)...
So...if research and development is not being quashed, as claimed, then where is it?

TNT, yes, that is always the question. it reminds me of when you could take and IQ test on monday and get a 148 and retake it the following year and only get a 135 and they tell you the first one was wrong.
