Hi everyone, Been a bit since I've posted. Still trying to beat lD. Anyways, since Sunday evening I've been hit with palpitations. Usually a few a minuet. Then they go away only to come back hours later. The last night has been really bad. I was awaken after two hours sleep. Been getting at times 2 to 3 skips a min. No other heart attack symptoms but you never know. Already on a beta blocker. Put in a call to my cardiologist and waiting for a call back. Anyone ever get them pretty much non stop? Thanks

Also, in the book, "Checklist for Bartonella, Babesia and Lyme Disease" 2012 edition, it lists palpitations as a sx of Lyme Borrelia - "occasional rapid heartbeats (palpitations)" p. 114 and Bartonella "palpitations unrelated to panic attacks." P.7. And magnesium and COQ10 are good ideas too.

Babesia is usually what we think of for heart palpitations. I also got them from histamine intolerance and food allergies.

Do you get them more when you are lying down? The heart works harder when you're lying down. So get up and walk around or at least move your feet around when you get them. See if that helps.

Well i get more lying down. Actually waking me up. Right now sitting up I'm getting 2-3 skips a minuet.
This morning I couldn't sleep for several hours.

Ive had at least 6 echo's in the past 7 years which all come back normal. I am on metoprolol 25mg daily. I called my cardiologist and tell him about it. I ask him are they dangerous at this rate. And he says no. He says I'll know if I have to go to a hospital.

I can really feel it in my mid back. Good heart beat then a thud. It really sucks right now. I'm taking also about 300 mg of Magnesium citrate daily. I am not on any antibiotic treatment at this moment. But I have doxy and some Flagyl. Thinking about getting back on some.

Maybe I should get another EKG tomorrow. What do you all think?

Well and just like that its stopped again. This time about an hour after I took Mag citrate 100mg. Its like relief.
