This may be a stupid question but I prefer to take my abx dose (clinda) right before bed and i need to take benadryl for allergies and only time I can take it is before bed cause it puts me to sleep.

ok to take the two at same time?

Not a stupid question!!!! I take both together/at the same time. As a matter of fact... for me Benadryl seems to help with herx reactions and great for sleep.

As a side note, I've found Stinging Nettle Leaf capsules to be fantastic to stop allergy symptoms. [Although, if one is taking it for sleep, it will help to calm allergic or sinus symptoms but it will not induce drowsiness which is a side-effect of Benadryl).

STINGING NETTLE LEAF (not root) - Links set

Great help for allergies &

The herb, STINGING NETTLE LEAF can be nicely calming to the cytokine storm that is often part of a herx reaction -- and some allergy roller coaster rides, too. That cytokine stuff can really clobber in many ways.

It also is very nutritious, can help correct iron deficient anemia, and has various other benefits. Some really good articles here.

Thanks guy!! One more question. I hear the standard for taking activated charcoal for detoxing after abx is two hours.

If I wanna make sure I am absolutely getting all the meds before I detox the herx reaction should I wait longer?

I'm taking abx for tooth infection and I'm more concerned about the abx fulfilling their full potential than usual.
