I have. I tried it for the shakes, not much improvement. But no harm done regardless.

It was in a product called grounded pacificbiologic with high dose niacin. .it did help stabalize a bit

My doctor said to not go above 5 mg .. This particular product contains 4.8 mg .. Just updating in case anyone needs the info.
