I've seen it mentioned that BVT shouldn't be combined with herbs/meds. Does anyone have any literature spelling that out? Or where would be the best place to start looking...Medline/PubMed, somewhere else?

No...there is so little literature on BVT it was and probably always will be considered folk medicine.
It actually might turn out that one or two herbs help and are synergistic with BVT but the best success so far is to use nothing else. All we have are a bunch of people who are trying it for themselves.
There is a paper coming out with more but I can't say anything else about it.

I have been combining bvt with tcm and some buhner ,also with silver ,h202 ,iv abx and rife ... i have some pdn/lmd going on but made some gains when i combined iv abx and bvt 12+ stings 3x a week
tnt also had seen some synergistic effect see other thread

I had synergistic *herxing* for sure with abx and bvt.
