I know this is an odd symptom, but I have seen prior posts about it before.
There seems to be a correlation between the crawling sensation and all my other symptoms . For example when I have this crazy sensation at the crown of my head my brain also does not work.
I believe it is parasites.
What did you do for this symptom?

I have the same thing. Someone told me it was possible seizure activity or babesia. But really who knows?

Could also be some type of neuropathy or nerve issue.
I get skin crawling along with what are probably other parasite sx. I put the skin sensations off as some sort of neurological quirk for years.
When I first treated for parasites I was amazed at how many symptoms stopped just like that. If I don't maintain on something they come back, although it seems to take longer each time I go off tx.
I feel it's a probably a good idea for anyone treating any type of chronic health issue to take something for parasites at some point. Probably a good idea for normal healthy folks too.

I have this from bird mites that migrated from a nest into my apartment and me. After two months of treatment and intense regimens I am now considering the idea that there is a residual neurological sensitivity going on. But waiting to take more Ivermectin if it gets worse. I also have biting sensations at times.
Gz what is your Ivermectin protocol?

I've had the crawling symptoms before on my head and elsewhere in my body. I suspect that it was Borrelia spirochettes. Borrelia invades every part of your body; your organs, your brain, your eyes, your skin. Cat's Claw is a powerful killer of Borrelia and it crosses the blood/brain barrier.
After taking Cat's Claw for about a week, I had no more crawling sensations.
winding shores - It sounds like bird mites invade your skin just as chiggers do. If it were me, I would try one of the chigger remedies available on Amazon and see if that takes care of it. Walmart also might carry something for chiggers. Every time I have picked berries in the past, I always ended up with crazy itching on my arms which turned out to be chiggers which will move into your skin and happily live there. If you catch it on the first day,
washing the skin with soap will kill them. If you don't notice it the first day, you have to resort to something stronger. If it were me, I would try one of the chigger remedies.
Another thing you could try is washing your hair with something available from Walmart that kills lice - I forget what it is called (but I know that birds often have lice.). It's a shampoo and used to be called Nitz and is carried up near the pharmacy. You could ask the pharmacist.

I have had periods of the crazy head itching/crawling feeling. I get the same sensation in my eyelashes and in the skin around my eyes.
LLMD told me its likely the Bartonella, it burrows and festers in the skin.
Honestly, i didn't find anything really helped except trying not to expose it to sun; like a bunch of other rash/bartonella stuff, the sun/heat really stirs it up.

LilaLee, your symptoms sound like demodex mites or similar.
For your eyelids and eyelashes, have you tried using special wipes/scrubs such as Occusoft Plus or Cliradex? These cleanse and have some antimicrobial action, helping with demodex mites too.

My eye issues have been complicated and all seemingly part of the Lyme Mess. I have seen an eye specialist routinely so i would she would have known if it was a mite issue but maybe not.
