so I'm just sitting up here in my room and haven't left my house in a week -- looked down at the one part of my exposed arm to see a mosquito on it. I slapped it off and doused the bite with hydrogen peroxide and raw honey.

There's West Nile being reported in mosquitoes all over the county and it would truly just be my luck to get it from this one mosquito in my room.

Is there anything else I can put on it to stop the virus if I've got it or eat systemically to nip it in the bud?

You can twerk. At least that is what the news report said.

Tincup, Can you teach me how to twerk to avoid mosquitos?

That's exactly what I'm going to do tomorrow -- bee sting and then of course twerk.

Me-- absolutely not. Sorry! Not to hurt your feelings, but someone filmed you the other day and truth is, I don't have much hope for you being an outstanding twerk student after seeing this...

Hey J,

I think with enough practice and the right fruit filled hat (and don't forget the red shoes) you could twerk outdoors and scare off the mosquitoes!

I'd love to see the CDC study on that accomplishment.

TIncup, You've finally done it--you've finally hurt my feelings by saying I have no twerking potential and posting that video of me. [kiss]

OK, ok! Maybe this will make it up to you? Here are some of your baby videos your family shared with me. (ME, not you me, ME!)

It should put you in a better light... even though it doesn't appear you were the brightest bulb on the tree back then.

But we love you anyhow!

Not sure about West Nile but Takuna Nutramedix and Elderberry are what I take when I feel something coming on.

Also a LOT of vitamin C.

I'm so sorry about that mosquito. It sucks to be so careful and then to get bit anyways.

A visitor left open the basement door to our house and I didn't find it for several hours. We had tons of mosquitos inside. It was awful! And I, like a crazy woman, went around hunting down every single one.
