I don't know. Maybe the original poster deleted it.

That was randibear's thread. What's up with that? The info in that thread was helpful. [Frown]

Randibear, why delete it?

Sadly, Randi deleted it.

I don't really know the story on that. I didn't see anything go wrong with it.

I wish I remembered everything on it (had some good info).

I am sure they had their reasons. Just thought it was kind of odd.

Feel free to put any info on e.coli here on this thread.

Dan, how much mms did you take?

Does anyone else remember other remedies or helpful things for e coli? I was told everyone gets it (food).

Her sister was receiving treatment all the time.

The information in the initial post and for a few days following, was that her sister had been diagnosed with E.Coli, stopped taking the Rx very early on and was very ill.

Replies posted by many with concern over the urgency were all rather good information, I thought. It is too bad they were deleted for future use.

After a few days, randibear posted that it turns out that all along her sister had gotten back with her doctor and she had been prescribed a week of cipro so the urgency was not as first thought.

I admit to feeling a little irritated and replied that - for a post soliciting ideas & help for an urgent situation that was not quite so urgent -that had we all known that up front it might have saved us some time.

randibear explained that she had not talked directly to her sister over the course of those days and that "no one tells me anything" - another sister had not shared with her the facts when telling her the situation.

Soon afterward the thread had been deleted.

You just stirred the pot again.

No pot. People wondered if anyone knew where it had gone. Just explained what happened so they can refer back to any saved notes they may have on the topic.

She left because she was angry.

I deleted due to what I perceived as an attack on my post. I said perceived.

nuff said. there is no value in going around this barn again and I'm tired of sounding like a cat squalling in a hailstorm.

she was diagnosed with e coli. took bactrim, made her sick so she stopped, took cipro, same thing, took another abx but only finished six days. this was over a several weeks period.

I called this weekend. she is not on any abx for that. her doctor said might be c diff but her symptoms dont match.

however now she has a vaginal infection and they gave her an abx vaginal cream for that and have asked for a stool sample. she hasnt provided that yet nor has the appt been made with urologis. she has not gone to er this past week. she remarked she feels like crap.

I'm sorry the post turned contentious. it was not my intention to cause distress for any of you.

your responses were most appreciated. they are always kind and thoughtful and have plenty of information.

I jus watched a mike holmes show where they had to call in professionals to clean a house for e coli.

my sisters husband is a severe hoarder, like on tv. I wonder if living in that could be the root of her problem.
at this point, who knows.

they'll sort it out eventually.

we're dealing with a death in husbands immediate family so I'm out of sorts.

tu, thank you "most kindly" as grandma used to say

I use three drops of MMS for e-coli in the stomach. I get horribly sick from e-coli. Possibly because it is one of the pathogens involved with my Crohn's disease.

Three drops and 15 to 20 minutes later the symptoms are gone.

I do not think it works for e-coli bladder infections though. Just from other reports I have heard.
