I was Googling Ceftin side effects, cuz I'm drowsy! I added Ceftin onto Doxy yesterday.
Drowsiness is a side effect, but so is joint pain and swelling.
So my question is: If I do get joint pain or swelling again (which was my main symptom) how will I know if it is a side effect of drug, or a herx?
Currently I am pretty much symptom free, other than night sweats, which are a pain in the a**, and slight twitching.

It may be a side effect but it also could be a slight herx from adding in a new antibiotic. I always feel more tired when I first start a treatment. At least for a few days.
I have always wondered if the side effects listed on meds are truly a side effect or a herx. But if you have an increase or a return of your joint pain while on this combo you need to let your doc know.
