My alternative doc has me taking Enteragam powder for the IBS/diarrhea; the powder contains bovine antibodies to a wide spectrum of gut toxins and irritants; the powder gobbles up the irritants, lowering inflammation, and normalizing gut function.
The powder isn't getting rid of all the diarrhea, though, just part of it. I'd be glad to know of any other available treatment options.
Because the thing I've done for basic immune support since getting Lyme (2003) is taking vitamin C to bowel tolerance, having a problem with diarrhea means I can't take enough vitamin C; on days I can't get enough C, I'm incapac-itated by nerve pain in one of the trigeminal nerves between my eyes.

Yes, Florastor. I works great for diarrhea and it is a probiotic to boot!

Also, when I had trigeminal neuralgia from lyme, I found that taking Benadryl got rid of it. Give it a try. I hope it helps you.
I will never forget the pain of trigeminal neuralgia. Let us know how it goes!

If you have Babesia which eats up your iron, taking an iron supplement will control diarrhea.
