I have been ill for 7 months and for the past 4-5 months my neurological symptoms come and go.
I can talk normally then out of the blue cannot speak, slurr my words have no volume, have word finding diff etc.
My vision will be ok and then it becomes so blurry that I cannot see and this will last for hours then come and go.
My right sided tremors, right sided uncontrollable movements in my right leg, foot and then movements being VERY uncoordinated that I cannot walk or use my right arm/hand correctly also come and go.
The worst is the immobilizing chronic fatigue which lasts like 4 days and then i have like 4 days of terrible insomnia and I don't fall asleep until around 5:30am and sleep till about 8:30am but am not tired. The days where I have the insomnia my symptoms are a lot less.
Is this normal? Does anyone else have this?

First, have you been checked out by a doctor?
And yes, Lyme symptoms are famous for "waxing and waning". Very common.
But, I do want to be sure you've been seen by a doctor.
Cause we want to keep you on the sunny side of life!

Wow you sound so much like me!!! I'm the same!! I have been thinking I am bipolar or something with the drag days and then the high energy days.
Some days it's this and some days it's that. I think that's why people don't think I am sick. I look fine and I caomplain about one thing then that's better than it's the other thing.
It can make you feel like you are nuts or something!!!!

AGREED!!! it's like I can talk normally one minute and then cannot the next.
I tested + for Lyme by IGenex (negative by Quest). I have been treated for 45 days with antibiotics and now on numerous homeopathic medications to treat inflammation and immune system support

Hi, Sorry, but sure do understand.
I now have dysautonomia, pass out any given time without warning. Very scary.
Vision, even hearing go to echoing on & off.
I vibrate 24hrs. a day now horrible.
Gaba helped my speech. Not as bad as was without.
So many other things that wax & wane.
Not fun is it, people think I am crazy if tell them I am vibrating all over non stop. ha
Merry Christmas anyway. Pray next yr. can least be tad better?????

etb, I hope you decide to get back on antibiotics. 45 days of antibiotics for lyme and coinfections is totally inadequate treatment--unless you started the meds within a week of your tick bite.
To educate yourself on this complex disease (which is actually a number of diseases) I strongly suggest you read and STUDY the Burrascano Lyme Treatment Guidelines found here:
You must attack both the regular and cyst (or other) form of lyme simultaneously--requires at least 2 different antibiotics taken together to do so.
You must test the patient for all co-infections and other physical ailments (thyroid, etc.) and treat everything the person has.
You must treat all co-infections the patient has(including babesiosis, bartonella, ehrlichia, mycoplasma, etc.) or the patient will not get well.
You must use Igenex for most of these tests--they are a tick-borne disease speciality lab in Calif.
You must use very high doses of antibiotics to kill the diseases (batericidal doses).
You must give the patient supplements, probiotics, herbs such as artimesinin if babesiosis is suspected, and require adherence to rules such as low carb diet, no alcohol, no smoking, rest, and exercise as the patient is able to do it.
You must treat at least 2 months after all symptoms have disappeared (if sick at least 1 year).
So, as you can see, you need to stay on antibiotics until all symptoms have disappeared and then continue on them for at least 2 more months.
And, each coinfection requires treatment with different meds, so be sure you get treated for babesiosis and bartonella also. Nearly every lyme patient has at least these 3 diseases.
