Does anyone know how to eliminate it? uggh.

You know when people describe this I don't know what they mean. I've had horrible head, neck, ear, jaw etc. symptoms but I can't relate to "pressure".

Is it in your sinuses?

It feels like everything on the inside is pushing to get out. Eyes, head, sinuses, everything.

I describe mine like a balloon is blown up inside of my head. A doc fave me a script to help it but I didn't wanna take another drug. Not sure if there's any good way to get rid of it really.

So lets assume it's swelling, of something. Brain, extracellular debris, inflammation, sinuses, something.

Bringing swelling down usually is a trick of decreasing inflammation and balancing fluids.

So...I'm thinking magnesium , magnesium oil or cream directly on your head and face, oral potassium and salt, progesterone, b1 (replaces acetazolamide), niacinamide, aspirin, epsom, antihistamines, aspirin. Neti pot with salt.

I haven't had any luck at all with curcumin but if you tend that way you could try that too.

That's what I got [Smile]

mine feelslikemy head is going to explode. like being in a vise and someone is tightening it.

painful....and my bp goes through the roof.

I don't tolerate MANY foods... I get this "head is going to explode" feeling if I eat incorrectly.

Sulphur in foods is one example. Salicylates are another. You might want to explore those.

Well, at least I'm in good company.

Jordana good ideas with decrease swelling. I'm going to try mag. Oil on my head tonight and see what happens.

Lyme too, so IV glut. Is out for you, right?

I'm going to look into that. My head was it's normal dizzy, yucky this morning, then I took 100 mg art, and my head felt like it was going to explode an hour later.

Maybe the art.

So, if it is art, killing pathogens in your red blood cells, then it's that the dead dudes are clogging your small capillaries. One test might be just *ice*, which brings down swelling. If that works then maybe you've got a direction to work in.

For my hubby, the 'head feels like its going to explode' was an egg allergy. 48 hours after eating egg, he would get a headache that felt like his head was going to explode.

I looked up headaches in Stephen Buhner's book on Lyme Coinfections which covers Anaplasma, Babesia and Erhlica, after finding "Pressure sensation

(more than headache) occipital, crown and behind eyes" on Dr. G's Symptom list under Babesia. Buhner recommends some tinctures in addition to the Core Protocol for Babesia's

intravascular coagulation headaches. The tinctures are - Pedicularis, Indian Pipe or Kudzu Root. (Page 97 of his book on Babesia)

Personally, I use 1 Vitamin E capsule per day to hold down on Babesia's blood coagulation. You can't take more than 1/day or it can cause bleeding.

I think I'd try homeopathic Bryonia for the headaches that feel like the head is going to explode/pressure behind the eyes.

Another thing to try in case it is caused by die-off, is Chlorella but I think Lookup's Bryonia or Stephen Buhner's tinctures listed in my post might be worth trying. Good luck. There's nothing more horrible than a headache that won't stop.

Oh Thank you everyone. tulips, I have suspicion that the head issues are from babesia. I'm going to try some of those suggestions.

Thank you everyone!!!!

I had that for a long time. It finally went away with babesia treatment.

Tetracyclines can also cause this.

Thank you badtick. All of this is confirming my suspicions . . . and I'm going to try some of the suggestions... [Wink] Hope they help!

Let us know how it turns out.

I experience this daily. It is different than a head ache. It is more like a pressure or tight feeling. I also have sizzling and buzzing sensations and my ears change pressure with it, so I know there is a physiological cause. I just don't know if it is die-off from the treatment I am doing or something else.

I describe it to my doctor as though my head is a pressure cooker with the sizzling being the steam escaping. Another way of describing it is that my head feels like a short wave radio being tuned (that describes the sounds I hear [Frown] ) My best days are when that pressure goes away.

Check out the post from 1-29-17, "Headache Pressure Relief for my Daughter, about the daughter suffering for seven years with bad head pressure and headache until a certain procedure stopped the pain and pressure.
