I heard positive reports regarding CFS patients using GCMAF for fatigue.

I have been using A.H.C.C. to increase NK cells. This supplement increased my NK cells from 9 to 16 without any improvement noted in fatigue.

If the mechanism of action of GCMAF is to increase NK cells, (sounds like the same effect of taking the AHCC) I'm wondering if it is still worth trying it.

Anyone here try GCMAF?

Several years ago I tried AHCC for a couple months, but there was no improvement in my fatigue.

Something that does seem to improve my stamina temporarily is Rhodiola.

What is AHCC?

I am very much interested in GcMAF, but the US & EU have basically outlawed it, due to it's helping so much with cancer, autism, etc.!! (Profits above people, as usual)!

But you can get it from Japan, and I don't think you need an rx for it. Not sure any doctor will rx tests for it, let alone monitor the GcMAF, except in Nevada, where the laws are more liberal.

In 2015 too many alternative doctors who worked with it died under extremely suspicious circumstances in a very short time. Unreal. Profits rule!!

BTW, the research shows that it helps a lot with cancer and autism, among other things. But only a bit with TBD's (too many pathogens and other issues IMO).

up.

I need to access some GcMAF soon. I would like to be monitored with it, but the only doctor that I know that might do that is in Nevada. I'm not physically capable of going there. I'm sure that it would be fine to just use it, knowing that I am surely low in it. But it would be much better to be monitored. Sigh. Thanks, powers that be, for getting rid of yet another powerful natural remedy!!! (Not to mention getting rid of the doctors who used it and researched it)!!

AHCC stands for Active Hexose Correlated Compounds. There is very good research that shows it increases NK cells.

NK cells and/or NK cell function is often decreased in CFS, cancer, chronic infections such as Lyme, etc.
