I've got either a bladder or kidney infection. my urine is scalding me, I can barely sit or walk I'm so raw, urine smells, I hurt from under the breasts to legs, my lower back is killing me.
and if that ain't enough, I'm sick to my stomach, headache, nauseous, tired, have muscle cramps, and my tinnitus is through the roof...
AND my bladder now leaks all the time. it has woken me up cause I feel myself going.
my mom had cystocele surgery to lift bladder. it worked wonders for her. guess I'm off to urologist when I get back.
more abx, which means more thrush, which means,,,,ad infinitum.....

D Mannose works wonders for me. A few years ago I was back and forth to the dr's for an infection that the antibiotics only barely touched, but the D mannose helps 100%. I still take it everyday.

- "urine is scalding" -- new mothers have this problem, too, and the same kind of water bottle they use can be soothing to anyone with pain issues as this.
Spray water while urinating to dilute the urine. Actually read this a few months ago from Chrissy Tiegen's (sp?) blog as she was sharing some things no one ever talks about. She thought it was time to talk, to share.
Basically, it's a Bidet Bottle of sorts. An empty shampoo bottle might work just fine.
Be sure to avoid all wipes, there is not one that does not contain chemicals that can irritate tender tissues.
Certain kinds of medical salve could be of help, though. I find Herb Pharm Original salve to be quite soothing. -

Angled spray design for perfect aim
For a recycled bottle:
The SPOUT stream needs to go out SIDE WAYS.
Bottles that have the vertical spouts just don't work well to aim the water when turned upside down with one hand. This spout style shoots out from the side.
If the spout is straight up out of the bottle, you have to do gymnastics to hold the bottle far out & horizontal, not vertical & close to your body with more control as the slim bottle with sideways spout will allow.
Some people can manage any shape, spout but it was learning curve for me.
THIS STYLE: Flat bottle, push down lid - not a flip up valve as those don't work as well -- to better turn upside down as a bidet water bottle.
I had to stop using the shampoo as it was too harsh for me . . . but the bottles were a great save. You may have something similar.
I found round bottles to be too bulky for that tight fit (unless you have an elongated toilet seat) and not spew water all over.
The FLAT style of this green bottle here works just perfectly. The integrity of the plastic is just right, too, allow for the right kind of pressure.
Water does not spray all over to the floor when I pay attention. A few drops can be easily dried with just a bit of TP
[Some bottles will not actually let you push the water out if the plastic is too heavy. Too light, and they can break. Mine like this have lasted years.]
The simple spout is a PUSH lever - just press lightly with ONE HAND. Very easy to push open once positioned near you, over toilet - and it can be aimed is right.
SIDEWAYS SPOUT.
Just don't press the spout open to stream water until upside down and aimed right at the target. It is possible to do this and not have water land on the floor.
The easier it is, then you will be more inclined to use daily (or after bowels move). I think this is a good habit to keep up and provides better comfort and less irritation in general to that area. -

Definitely get some D-Mannose .. without cranberry, just in case you might also have IC.
I hope you will feel well enough to go... sounds rather daunting though.

- It might be a good idea to never stop taking that, considering your history with such matters. It's quite fine to include this daily - 2 or 3 x day - as a matter of "required" prevention even after the urgency will have passed. Good luck. -

This is in some Seventh Generation products, so be care to not assume "good" products are as good as they may claim. I was shocked to realize I'd been using products with this in it. When I switched to ACURE Shampoo, my scalp healed]
Look out for: methyllisothiazolinone - it's even in some "natural" soaps, even Seventh Generation. Best to avoid.
When I switched to Better Life "Dish It Out" instead, a rash on my hands got so much better.
Also switched out my Avalon bath gel that had harsh ingredients I had been aware of -- better with ACURE (mint is fairly calm scent. Their unscented smells awful, though).

I hope you find relief SOON.
Alas, nothing to date has helped me. Waiting on my cat-scan results. Don't expect to see spiroketes on X-rays, though.
For unbearable breakthrough pain, I go to Walmart and pick up aspercreme lidocaine patches for 7.89 for 5 patches. The other OTC patches, caspin (too hot) and menthol ( too smelly) I didn't like at all.
Go on trip only if your health allows. Don't feel guilty if your body doesn't cooperate. We have all been there. Missing out on many important events. But with Lyme, we also know we are in it for the long haul. We do whatever it takes to get our health back.
