Hi folks:

I've been feeling a lot better the past 2-3 months since starting MC-Bab2, cutting sugar, and ramping up on Liposomal Artemisinin.

I've been slowly ramping up on the Lipo Art over the past 3 weeks. First 6 days was 1 capsule 1x / day. Then 1 capsule 2x / day for another 6 days, then 2 in AM, 1 in PM, and finally 2 2x / day.

Last Saturday, the day before I went to two 2x / day, I started to notice pain in the heel of my left foot. This along with more frequent calf cramping in my left leg.

The heel pain seems very much like Plantar Fasciitis, which I know can be associated with Bart, Babs, or other co-infections.

Has anyone gotten heel pain/discomfort while treating lyme & co? I think mine must be a flare of sorts as I've done nothing physically to cause the issue.

Go to You Tube and see if addressing the calf muscle pain will resolve the issue.

It's definitely related to PF.

BCB - sounds like Bart or Babs to me. There are times when I think I had the kind of pain in the feet you are describing from Babesia. At other times, I think it was Bart. Bottom line, not totally sure.

All of mine is now resolved with adequate treatment. It took sometime and I credit Dr. H to getting rid of it for me. I think these co's and lyme can be tricky, tricky. But, yes, the pain did finally go away. Part of it I feel is damage that is done and it has to be repaired- so it can take a little time. I took LCarnitine to help with tendon repair. Just sharing what worked for me. I went through Dr. H's gold standard at the time for Bart, Babs and Lyme and so far so good (multiple abx with Bicillin injections- about two years). I haven't been on abx since 2012. Take care- You will beat this!

Try rolling your feet for relief. The heel, the arch, the ball of the foot, then the inside and outside. You can use a large dowel rod or even a rolling pin. A tennis ball can work, too.

The rolling won't take away the cause, but it can help with fascia tightness.

I get foot pain, but I think it's bart. You could try detoxing. Coffee enemas work great.

Also some heel pain can get worse with sugar consumption or anything that breaks down into sugar (carbs).
