I have relapsed after 3 years and my symptoms started out with foot pain and anxiety as my main dymptoms .
I started treating with Bactrim a couple weeks ago .
Last night I woke up feel super hot and a bit sweaty , and I have some chills today
Coukd chills be indicative of bart ? Or only babesia ?

I find that many symptoms overlap. If I were you, I would contact your LLMD and use combination therapy with antibiotics.

Sometimes you treat one thing and another co infection pops up. It sounds like babs. Your lyme doc will know. It just takes time to monitor.

Read pages 23 and 26 of Burrascano. These are symptoms of babesiosis. \ Night sweats are a classic babs symptom.
Bactrim treats babs. So, now that you are treating babs, the babs symptoms are coming out! How about that!
The only time that chills are mentioned in the Guidelines is in connection with babesiosis.
To check this yourself, pull up the Guidelines on your screen. In a blank space near the top of the document, hit Control+f (the "find" function)
The "find" box will come up near the top of the screen. Type in the word "chills" in the box and hit enter. Then, the first mention of the word "chills" will come up on your screen. Hit the right arrow to the right of the find box and you will see the next place that "chills" is used in the Guidelines. Do this until you come to the end of the document.
There are 2 spots that use the word "chils." They are both on page 23 in relation to babesiosis.
Start using the "find" function and you can answer a lot of your own questions. It's easy once you get used to it.
Of course, there are other tick-borne illnesses that can cause chills. Tick-born Relapsing Fever, Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever, and Tularemia are named in another lyme book that I have.
But, since you are now treating babs, it makes sense that the babs symptoms would flare. My doc said babs symptoms will flare every 7 days and also every 14 days. I experienced both patterns.
First, my symptoms flared every 7 days. After a few months, they just flared every 14 days.
Don't get alarmed. When you start treating these illnesses, you can get symptoms you never had before! That's the herx or flare as they call it.

My Dr wrote me back and said that chills could be indicative of babs but that sweats and hot flashes can be any infection .
Another thing im wondering about are the burrascabo guidelines . Aren't they a tad bit outdated ? They are like 12 years old and so much has changed
