I've noticed this keeps happening more frequently and am starting to wonder what exactly is going on. Yesterday I was wearing no bikini and toward the end of the night my

collarbone, where the strap was resting on, began to feel extremely sore. Today there's no bruise, but the bone feels bruised. The same goes for the bone in my butt. It's extremely

sore from sitting in the kayak. I've noticed the same sensation with my ribs as well.

Any idea why this is happening? Or what can be done to prevent it?

Is it the bones or more the skin around bones?

Many people here have inflammation on the scalp! I had that, and it was very sore to the touch, for years, I think, during the time lyme was active.

It is inflammation, pure inflammation, to my knowledge. I think it is more the skin than the bones, but I may be wrong.

I had that for so many years, I thought my scalp was permanently damaged and sore. I was fortunately wrong, as it healed completely.

Sometimes cleaning, heavy metal chelation, antimicrobials, infrared light, PEMF whatever you do there will make it less sore.

Sometimes the sore spot heals by itself.

Did you check your bone density? Normal doctors can do that, if you suspect bone density is lowering....

I do feel like it is the bone. Neither of theses for spots are swollen at all. In fact it's not even too the touch. If I lean on my arm, my collarbone aches as if it were fractured. This happens with my shins, even the bone in glutes.

What exactly is a bone density test? I've noticed how brittle I feel now bone wise. If I hit anything even lightly, i feel the bane deep in my bones.

I would try the homeopathic Homeopathic Arnica to see if that would help. If not then I would look at Eupatorium perfoliatum (boneset) for bones that feel fractured/sore or homeopathic or Ruta graveolens (Garden Rue)for bruised feeling of bones.

They are common homeopathic remedies found at the health food store and each one costs about $8.

Here is a article on Ruta which was used in a cream and also in an oral pellet:

The site above explains how the tests are done (non invasive, it seems, except you get a bit of Xray radiation).

All older women in my family did those tests.

I get this sometimes. Even a heavy necklace can bruise my collarbone. I also think it is inflammation related.
