I was weeding out my blackberry patch, pulling out ferns yesterday
I knew I would likely get a tick or two since they love raspberry and blackberry brush.
I found a Deer tick buried in my leg this morning. The odd part was that it was dead.
I have been using five drops of MMS because of a tooth infection the past few days. I have had hundreds of ticks stuck on me in my lifetime but never a dead one until now.
I guess the rather small dose of MMS is not a small dose for a tick. I am pretty sure that is why it was dead and I am sure any infection it might have been carrying.

Great Dan! Thanks for saying that!!!
I got my 6th bite just 2 days ago. This year, it's been bad tick season. But they are always alive, the damn ticks, so tiny I can barely see them!
I had a visit from a friend yesterday, who also got bitten a few times (she doesn't have lyme though).
She said that all ticks she pulled off are dead, unless she finds them too soon after the bite (not after a night or so...).
My cat too: some ticks dry off while still biting it, but some stay there, very alive... When they dry, they loose the shining 'color', it's easy to see!
