Hi All.
I was diagnosed in 2015 and did abx treatment for a year. I was healthy and doing great for a year, but the beast has reared its head again and I am once again home bound.

Here is my biggest symptom: My nervous system seems to be going haywire. I have panic attack after panic attack, constantly anxiety, and fainting feelings. I have actually fainted a few times.

This past week has been the worst. My LLMD, GP, and therapist all suggested I start zoloft because the anxiety was making me suicidal. I started it a week ago (on a very low dose) and all hell broke loose. I have since stopped it.

I also got a Myers cocktail a few days ago and that seemed to cause a herx??

Anyway, I take klonopin and it does help calm me. I only try to take 1/4 of a .5 at a time and never exceed .5mg in a day. I have been doing this for a month straight now.

My LLMD has me on the homeopathic Des Bio Lyme/Babesia series, Lyme Plus, and Borrelia-Babesia Homochord. Along with supplements for adrenals and anxiety.

I've read that most people are really against benzos on here, so now I'm really worried I'm making things worse for myself.

I had major heart issues in 2015, but I'm not really having those now (thank God) except for tachycardia.

My LLMD attributes all this to dysautonomia.

It's hard for me to know what's a herx or just the TBD getting worse. I recently took a DNA connexion which showed Ehrlichia chaffeensis was found and also, small traces of the DNA of Babesi divergens and Bartonella

I guess I'm just looking for some support. I can't control my mind or emotions right now and I'm just really scared and terrified every second that I'm dying.

Thank you and so sorry this was so long.

Good morning egc80

And yes, it is a good morning because we fought through another night. We are Lyme warriors. 💚

I am not against benzo's or anything else for that matter, that will ease our GREAT sufferring.

My box of tricks includes a variety of options. Reki, silver, herbs, massage, pharmacologicals, OTC's, ginger teas, oils probiotics, alka selzer gold, Claritin, lidocaine patches and lotions, Epsom salt baths(love), CBD gummies, pain meds and my life saver, Xanax. I constantly add to my protocol.

IMO, the most important is quality SLEEP ! We must have sleep to heal.

Anxiety is a major #### disturber !
When my 19th Doctor prescriped me Xanax, he saved my life. I joined lymenet, found a LLMD, and started aggressive treatment. Fought hard to get on my healing journey. Still fighting every second, every hour, every day.

I know exactly what you are feeling. We must all help and support each other as best we can. Hang in there, my friend.

Bartenderbonnie. Thank you so much for replying. I've been curious about trying CBD. What benefit do you think it brings you?

I just got into the cbd aspect of healing. So I m a rookie.

I was ordering gummies online, but my retailer has been sold out for over a month now. I kind of smell a rat, meaning government crackdown?

Anyways, I now buy my gummies at a local vape shop. Alittle more expensive. Each gummy contains 10mg cbd. I take 1 during the day if I'm experiencing anxiety. And 1 at night for sleep. I'm very stingy with them as they are expensive, 1$ a piece !

There s no high. A very subtle calm feeling. Like when we get out of a warm bath. It does not touch my pain, unfortunately. That requires the big guns.

But Xanax is my go-to drug for anxiety. I will wean off of it when I can get my symptoms to a manageable human level.
No one should have to live through this horrific illness sufferring. Do what YOU think is best for YOU.

Hope this helps you.

Binders are essential for keeping herxes down.

In great amounts, many times a day.

Thanks Brussels. I tried activated charcoal for the first time the other day. 2 capsules only once a day. I wasn't sure how many times a day I could take before causing constipation issues. Is there something else I should do in conjunction so as not to have that issue?

egc80, I take magnesium citrate in the form of a powder called Natural Calm by Natural Vitality to help prevent constipation. Vitamin C helps also. I have to be careful because I don't want to overdue it so I always start things low and see how I react. You also need to increase your water intake.
